Luxaqua is an international engineering company that designs and builds aquatic facilities for marine research centres. Founded in 2007 by Grégoire Bastide, we are based in Lyon, France.
Trained in marine biology, Grégoire graduated in aquaculture and aquariology from the Applied Sciences University of Nancy-Brabois.
His early missions took him on a journey of designing some of the most luxurious aquariums in the hospitality and architecture industry worldwide. These initial years of experience left Grégoire with an unrivalled sense of details and an aspiration for purpose.
The project with the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco in 2019 was a game changer. With a focus on sea turtles, it was the perfect illustration of how technology can serve science and conservation.

We created our LXA_Datatech software to monitor the different parameters of your installation while providing a collaborative platform. Our monitoring solution allows you to visualise and analyse your facility’s real-time data, such as water quality parameters, water flow, or water level. Its user-friendly interface allows remote control of all the pumps, filtration systems, protein skimmers, and lights.
